MAALIM Seif Sharif Hamad, the First Vice President of Zanzibar, has lost his battle against COVID-19.
Zanzibar President Dr Hussein Mwinyi has addressed the nation this afternoon and said Zanzibar would mourn Maalim Seif for seven days beginning today.
