Lissu is a living miracle

TUNDU Lissu, a Tanzanian Member of Parliament who was shot by “unknown assailants” in broad daylight at his residence in Dodoma, Tanzania, on 7th September 2017, says he is a living miracle.

The MP spent four months at the Nairobi Hospital in Kenya. He was later flown to Brussels, Belgium, for further treatment on January 6, 2018. When he spoke to journalist at the Nairobi Hospital  a day before he took off to Brussels, he was emphatic that the failed attempt on his life was a “planned political assassination.”

Doctors attending him have been saying that – with about 40 bullets that hit his car, 16 of them piercing his body, eight (8) of them lodged in body, seven (7) of which were later removed – Lissu is a living miracle.
