Kidnapped billionaire’s family in Tanzania promises $400,000 cash reward to authentic informers on his whereabouts

THE Gulam Dewji family of Tanzanian kidnapped billionaire Mohamamed Dewji (Mo) has pledged to offer a huge cash reward amounting to Tanzanian shillings 1,000,000,000 (equivalent to $400,000) to anyone who will divulge reliable information that will facilitate recovery of their family member.

A family member, Azim Dewji, told a press conference in Dar es Salaam on Monday noon that correspondences to this effect should be addressed to another family member, Murtaza Dewji, through his mobile numbers and email address. He provided contact details to the media.

“Personal details of the informer will remain confidential between the family and the informer,” he said. The press conference lasted about four minutes, and he did not allow any questions from the media.

Mo was kidnapped on Thursday morning near Collosseum Hotel along Haile Selasie Street in Dar es Salaam. His search is still on, but reliable reports say he is in the hands of plutomaniac rogue elements in the security system.
