Zimbabwe yahalalisha kilimo cha bangi

SERIKALI ya Zimbabwe imeruhusu wananchi wake kulima bangi kwa ajili ya matumizi ya kitabibu.

Kwa mujibu wa gazeti la The Independent la Zimbabwe, nchi hiyo inakuwa ya pili barani Afrika kuhalalisha kilimo cha bangi. Nchi ya kwanza iliyohalalisha kilimo hicho ni Lesotho.

Uamuzi huu wa Zimbabwe umeshangaza watu wengi kwani nchi hiyo imekuwa na sheria kali sana dhidi ya watumiaji wa mihadarati.

Kwa miezi kadhaa, Zimbabwe imekuwa katika mchakato wa kuhalalisha bangi ili kuiingiza mapato kwa zao hilo.

Hata hivyo, kwa mujibu wa tangazo la serikali kupitia wizara ya afya, mkulima anapaswa kuomba leseni maalumu kwa ajili ya zao hilo.

Wanaoweza kuomba leseni hiyo ni watu binafsi au kampuni.

Kabla ya serikali kuhalalisha zao hilo, adhabu kwa mtu aliyetiwa hatiani kwa kukutwa na bangi alihukumiwa kwenda jela miaka 12.

Katika nchi nyingi za Afrika, bangi ni haramu, lakini miongoni mwa nchi nyingine zilizoanza mchakato kuhalalisha zao ni Malawi na Ghana

    The point is CONTROL. Sio kila jambo kuhusu bangi ni baya. Yapo magonjwa ambayo baadhibya binadan waweza saidika kwa bangi. A question of CONTROL.

      Ni kweli,lakini tatizo la viongozi wengi wa kiafrika ni kufanya mambo kwa mapokeo badala ya kiyakinifu.

    The point is here is kitu CONTROL. Sio kila jambo kuhusu bangi ni baya. Yapo magonjwa ambayo baadhi ya binadamu waweza saidika kwa bangi, hasa ikipata treatment stahiki. I think its a matter of CONTROL.

    A well informed society is key to the prosperity of any nation .misinformation has been a major factor.Freedom of expression and the media are key to facilitate a constructive dialog on this issue something we dont have in our country.we must embrace the medical befits of this miracle plant which we have ignored for a very long time.
